The only time I ever ate octopus was in the guise of tapas in some trendy bar in London. I decided to be brave, and put a bit in my mouth. The taste was the least-objectionable seafood taste I've experienced and I don't like seafood, but the sensation of those suckers in my mouth was too much. I had to spit it out.

People here eat calamari all the time.
I think it's squid as opposed to octopus but the same rubbery shite all the same. Absolutely vile stuff.
